The Seventh Resource

10 August 2023

Question – What would happen if the resources that make up the very basis of human life, just, ran out?

There are six resources that are absolutely vital to our very existence – Water, Natural Gas, Air, Coal, Minerals and Oil. These resources form the very basis of our lives.

They’re used to make the food we eat, build the homes we live in and produce many of our belongings.

However, they all have one issue in common.

They’re limited in supply. Once they’re gone, they’re gone and gone forever.

Answer – life as we know it would cease to exist.

Solution – The Seventh Resource – Recycling

Every year billions of tonnes of waste ends up in landfill deposits, meaning we instantly lose these resources. By recycling these items we can preserve natural resources and reduce the need for continuous mining. Recycling also allows us to reuse these materials and minerals over and over again.

Several other benefits of recycling:

These are just some of the many benefits of recycling our waste. We can do all of the above and more, just by disposing of items/products we no longer want or use just by disposing of them correctly.

As part of our Global Recycling Day project, Plexstar will collect and dispose of your redundant electrical items for free.
